The fact is...there's nothing we have that God needs. He doesn't need our money. What we call "ours" came from Him first, right?! Because God gave us Jesus, freeing us from the bondage of sin, we are able to step into a joyful life of giving back, enabling the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be known, heard, and received.  We have this opportunity to join the Kingdom with the ability to extend our time, gifts, energy, and money, sewing into the things that will last for eternity.
