Chilca, Peru 2008

We were so blessed with our recent mission trip to Peru. Our team had an awesome ministry in the local communities. We got to experience worship in so many special ways, from lively dancing to just being still in God's presence. There was, and still is so much work to be done. We were fortunate enough to help with the new construction of Hannah's Hope, an orpahanage caring for and bringing the good news of God's word to so many special children. A building literally built upon scripture, which was written throughout the construction process by missionaries. It was a life changing experience for our mission team that will never be forgotten.

The Children

The children were the most special part of the trip. So loving with so little. While we were letting them use our backs as coloring tables, playing games with them, or just giving hugs. We ended up being the ones who left with changed lives.

 

Missions

Though our first responsibility and primary focus is here in Western North Carolina. We share in the responsibility to share the message of GRACE to the ends of the earth..
